POSTAGE CALCULATOR

The postage calculator will estimate total postage based on the number of pieces that you plan to mail. This calculator only shows rates for basic mailpieces weighing under 1oz for first class categories or under 3.3oz for standard and nonprofit class categories. Refer to the postage rate charts for extended information for mailpieces of different weights and criteria or mailpiece qualifications to learn more about size dimensions and class categories.

The computed rates show the highest postage fee for each category, however in most cases a mailing can qualify for even lower discounted rates depending on the makeup and quality of your address data. For example, the '5 Digit Auto.' category shows the postage fee for a barcoded automation mailing consisting of 150 pieces or more pieces  within each 5 digit zipcode (41042, 45239, etc.)

Refer to Automated Barcoding Criteria Images to learn more about creating mailpieces that qualify for barcoded automation.

The savings computed by the postage calculator are based on comparing the rate for full first class lettersize or flats under 1oz  versus the rate in the ''mixed automated' column which is the maximum barcoded postage rate for each class. The savings for automated postcards are compared to the single piece postcard rate.
