The
following images and descriptions show examples of the various types of
mailpieces which can help determine the style of mailing you would like to
produce and the category your mailpiece falls under when requesting a quote.
Postage costs can vary based on the size, weight, mailing class, and type of mailpiece
being used. Refer to the

qualifications section for extended information regarding mailpiece size or barcode automation
compatibility to receive lower postage rates.
Single sheet rectangular card more than 3 1/2 inches height and 5 inches width but not more than 4 1/4 inches height or more than 6 inches width. Mailpieces within this criteria can receive lower first class postage rates. Single sheet rectangular card under 11 1/2 inches width and 6 1/8 inches height. Single sheet card more than 6 inches width or more than 5 inches height but not more than 15 inches width or more than 12 inches height. When compared to lettersize cards, postage rates are higher for flatsize cards due to the larger size or dimention of the mailpiece. Multi-paged mailpiece that is held together by wafer seals or staples. Sheets half or tri- folded and usually held together by a wafer seal to meet mailing qualifications. Contains inserted pieces and the recipient address is printed on the outside of the envelope. The envelope size can determine the various postage rates for a mailing.
